I was looking at purchasing my first house. I had been renting prior to this for 4 years and had no idea how to start looking for a house. I was reffered to Jackson by a co-worker and he reached out to me the same day I sent him an email. He asked what all I was looking for and what price range and helped narrow down my possible listings. Jackson gave me multiple loan officers numbers so I could shop around. I ended up getting approved while we were still looking. I found a home that matched what I was looking for on a Thursday on Zillow and forwarded it onto Jackson Thursday night. He immediately contacted the seller's agent Friday mornings and we had a tour lined up Friday afternoon. Immediately after the tour, I told Jackson to put in an offer. There was some work to do on the house, so Jackson helped me with negotiating to get it at the right price. The offer got accepted, so we were on to the next step, which I had no idea what was supposed to happen next. Jackson laid the process out, from inspection to closing. He had multiple contacts for inspection companies which we ended up using one. Jackson suggested getting a radon test, and it came back high. Jackson recommended we renegotiate to get that off the price, and the seller agreed to cover the cost of radon mitigation. Closing went smooth and ended up moving in about 4 weeks after I reached out to Jackson. He was very good at responding quickly and any time of the day or night. It didnt matter if it was weekends or not, he would always pick up or respond to my questions. I went into buying my first house thinking it would be a complicated, stressful experience, but with Jackson's help it seemed to be a very smooth, fun project. He is a really nice guy and glad we got to work together. I would definitely use him again. He is keeping an eye out for possible investment properties for me, so I am assuming we will be doing business together again soon.

We loved working with Jackson. He was friendly and helpful during our search. We enjoyed looking at houses on Zillow and provided him with a list of the ones we found most interesting. During the process, he was responsive, both by email and text usually getting back to us by the end of the day. He was flexible when it came to arranging viewings, as our schedules were limited due to work. He was able to make arrangements for some evening/weekend viewings and would fit several into a single day if we had a bit more time. We were looking in about a 40 minute radius around Des Moines, but he was good about scheduling them in a logical order to save time on the road. He also balanced the schedule to have enough time to see the house, but not have tons of extra time between viewings. We appreciated how he honored our time in this way. During the viewings, he always gave us helpful feedback, acknowledging both the good and the bad. With the bad, he would give us a good idea of how much of a problem it was and how we could go about fixing it if that was the house we wanted. He worked well with the sellers’ realtors to get answers to any questions we had about houses. Once we decided on a house, he worked quickly to get in an offer and close on the house, walking us through the negotiating process well. Throughout the process, he was happy to answer all of our questions, and if he did not know the answer, he would get us one as quickly as possible. He was always professional and we loved working with him.

Jackson was great to work with. His marketing and media skills were out of this world. He hosted many open houses and always let us know what the feedback was. The market slowed down during the time of our listing, but Jackson never gave up and continued using different marketing strategies to keep our house actively viewed.
